Food and Cooking of Vietnam and Cambodia

Chinese Characters Confetti

Asian cuisine is one of the world's most tasty and unique. Guests will love to try new and delicious dishes at your Asian theme party. Here are some suggestions:
  • You can either choose one type of food from a specific country, or offer an array of different Asian tastes.
  • If you opt for just one country's cuisine, select from Japanese, Chinese or Thai food. These are the most popular and easy to find.
  • Fun with Asian Food Introducing Anneke and Max, a lovable brother and sister, who have great fun cooking and eating the favorite dishes of the countries of Asia!
  • Charmaine Solomon's Encyclopedia of Asian Food Amazing reference for identifying & using Asian ingredients, techniques & tools plus 500 classic recipes, more.
  • Food and Cooking of Vietnam and Cambodia Discover the deliciously fragrant cuisines of Indo-China, with over 150 step-by-step authentic recipes and over 700 photographs
  • If you are not up for making the food yourself, simply order take-out from your local Asian restaurant. When you get the food home, display it on your own platters and sprinkle some Chinese Characters Confetti across the table, to make it look more homemade.
  • Instead of cooking or getting take-out, hire an Asian chef to come to your party! You can either hire a sushi chef to give a demonstration (and then let the guests roll their own for a fun activity), or a stir-fry chef to cook up each guest's specific dish. Let them select their own ingredients for a totally custom experience!
  • It would be fun to create some personalized fortune cookies for your party. These are easy to make and are sure to be a big hit! Simply take some regular, store-bought fortune cookies and microwave them for about five seconds. The cookies will be soft and you will be able to bend them to take out the fortune message. Replace the message with your own special message!
