Mini Party Boxes

Fortune Shaker

Gossamer |
- A fun and tasty idea is
to hire a sushi chef to attend the party.
They can give a demonstration about how to
make sushi to all the guests. Guests can
then make their own sushi. Provide
containers for them to store the sushi in,
so that they can take it home at the end of
the party.
- Hire someone who speaks
an Asian language to come to the party and
teach your guests phrases or words. If
possible, ask them to explain the
history behind the language.
- For a unique
entertainment, arrange for a Chinese acrobat
performance. Ask the performer to show your
guests some of the moves after the
performance.
Fortune
Shaker
Whatever you
are looking for in life, the fortune shaker
is a great place to begin. The fortune
shaker is adapted from " Chien Tung" , an
ancient popular Chinese method of fortune
telling . A fun ice-breaker at a party .
Beautifully crafted out of wood. Contents: 1
fortune shaker, 38 numbered wooden fortune
sticks, 1 printed fortune card and 1 blank
fortune card so that you can make up your
own game. RED only.
Activities for a
Child's Party:
- For a child's party, have
the children make Asian-style Kites with our
White
Gossamer.
- They can also decorate
our
Mini Party Boxes
with
red and black Asian symbols (to make this
easy for them, provide some books with Asian
designs that they can copy).
- Young girls will love to
decorate chop sticks with red, black and
gold paint pens. When these are dry, they
can put their hair up and use the chop
sticks to fasten the hair in place.
- Try a sushi-making
session using candy and sweet items instead
of fish! Kids will love eating this.
